Randolph Community College (RCC) was in the spotlight at the State Board of Community Colleges meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20, as former Career & College Promise (CCP) student Isaias Hernandez and his former Career Coach, Misty West, shared his remarkable journey and highlighted the impact of RCC’s CCP program. Due to a winter storm, the presentation was conducted virtually, but that did not stop Hernandez and West from making a lasting impression on the Board.

Phi Theta Kappa chapter inducts 58 new members, celebrates 22 years of 5-Star excellence

Randolph Community College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), Beta Theta Rho, welcomed 58 new inductees during its Spring Induction Ceremony on Saturday, April 26, in the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center Auditorium on the Asheboro Campus. This celebration marked the chapter’s 26th year and its 22nd consecutive year maintaining prestigious 5-Star status — Phi Theta Kappa’s highest level of achievement.

Dr. Richard Carpenter, Chancellor Emeritus of the Lone Star College System (Houston), was the guest speaker at Randolph Community College’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony, held Wednesday, May 14, at New Horizon Coliseum. More than 1,100 students earned over 1,600 credentials across RCC’s academic and workforce programs, with close to 350 graduates participating in the ceremony.

Nursing program marks five years of perfect first-time NCLEX pass rates

Randolph Community College’s Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program is celebrating a five-year milestone of excellence. The College announced that its May 2025 ADN graduates achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) — the fifth consecutive year its graduates have accomplished this feat.
