Emergency Alert Registration

The Office of Compliance, Contracts, and Risk Management is updating RCC's safety communication processes to better serve our campus community. Your safety remains our top priority. RCC uses a dedicated emergency alert system to notify students. All current and future employees and students are required to opt in (sign up) to receive emergency alerts through RCC Alert.

How to Sign Up

1. Verify Your Contact Information
   • Log in to RCC Alert using your RCC Login ID and password.
   • Confirm or update your phone number(s) and email address(es).
2. Choose Your Preferred Alert Method
   
   • Alerts can be sent via text message, email, or voice call.
   • Text alerts are recommended for the fastest delivery.
3. Keep Your Settings Updated
   • Update your information whenever it changes.
   • Review your alert preferences at least once per semester.
   • To fully unsubscribe, log into RCC Alert and delete your contact information.
   • To opt out of text messages only, reply "STOP" to 226787.

*Note: RCC does not charge subscribers for sending or receiving SMS alerts. Standard carrier messaging rates may apply.

Mobile App: AlertAware

RCC also utilizes AlertAware, a mobile app that works in conjunction with RCC Alert. You will continue to receive alerts through text, email, and phone, but AlertAware provides an additional mobile platform for receiving and, in some cases, sending alerts.
