Frequently Asked Questions

Your MyRCC username and password are automatically created for you. To determine your initial MyRCC login information:

Click here to locate your MyRCC username and select “Forgot your user name”. Enter your first name (optional), last name, and email address. This must be a non-RCC email address that is already on file with the College (for example, the one used to apply to the College). Your username will be sent to the email address provided.

Your initial password will be the first letter of your last name in UPPERCASE, the second letter of your last name in lowercase and your six digit birth date. (Example: Mary Jane Smith with a birth date of March 17, 1998 would have a password of Sm031798). If you have any questions or issues, call the Computer Services Help Desk at 336-625-1573.

After securing your user name and password, you may access your email.

Your email will need to be in the format "your-username@students.randolph.edu".

Setup phone with Office365, connect other email accounts and sync to a phone.

Yes, the same username and password are used for all your MyRCC Online Services.

Yes, your MyRCC password expires every 45 days. To prevent being locked out of your MyRCC Online Services it is best to enroll in “Reset your password” to be able to reset it prior to the expiration date. If you have questions or need help, please call the Computer Services Help Desk at 336-625-1573.

  1. Access Enroll in Password Reset
  2. Select "Enroll/Update Account"
  3. Enter your username and password. Select Next.
  4. You will be prompted to select 4 security questions that will allow you to reset your password, unlock your account, or change your password in the future..
  5. Enter the answers to the questions and select Next
  6. Select Finish.

  1. Access  Reset Your Password
  2. Select “Reset Password”.
  3. Enter username and select Next.
  4. When prompted, answer 2 of your previously set security questions.
  5. Enter new password, confirm new password (re-enter) and select Next.

To perform the above steps, you must Enroll in Password Reset first.

  2. Select the "Change Password"
  3. Enter your username, your old password, new password, and then confirm password (re-enter New password).
  4. Select Next to finalize the change.

Your password needs to be 8 characters long and meet 3 of the following criteria: 

- UPPERCASE 

– lowercase 

- Numeric (123456) 

- Special Character (!@#$%^) 

  1. Access Unlock My Account
  2. Select "Unlock Account"
  3. Enter your username and select Next
  4. When prompted, answer 2 of your previously set security questions.

To perform the above steps, you must Enroll in Password Reset first.

Electronic forms are submitted through Etrieve CentralEtrieve Central allows for a secure, convenient method of form submission to various departments on campus.

You can access Etrieve 3 different ways using Azure AD (for currently enrolled students), Gmail account or a personal Microsoft account (for prospective students). Select the Azure AD icon (currently enrolled students), then enter your RCC username and password (ex. jcase@students.randolph.edu) If you are a prospective student, you can log in using your Gmail account or a personal Microsoft Account by selecting the appropriate links.  Additional information can be found here.

  1. Access RCC Alert
  2. Select RCC Alert
  3. Login using your RCC username and password 
  4. Select "LOG IN"
  5. Read the terms of use and select: I have read and agree to the Rave Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the Rave Terms of Use you will not be able to use Rave.
  6. Add any additional contact methods
  7. Enter your mobile carrier (Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, Etc.)
  8. Select continue
  9. You will be sent a confirmation code
  10. Enter the confirmation code
  11. Select continue
  12. You have successfully registered your number
  13. Select done
