Every member of the RCC community shares responsibility for campus safety by remaining alert, reporting actual or potential concerns, and following established safety practices while working, learning, or visiting RCC facilities.

Access to Campus Facilities
All of the College's campuses are open for business from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday. Students using classrooms and laboratories after scheduled class hours must optain prior approval from the appropriate faculty/staff member.
Reporting a Crime, Safety Concern, or Incident
Prompt reporting helps RCC respond appropriately, document incidents, provide assistance, and issue safety communications when needed.
What to do
- Emergency: Call 911 first, then notify Campus Safety or an appropriate College official when it is safe to do so.
- Non-emergency crime or suspicious activity: Contact Campus Security at 336-633-0220 or the RCC Campus Crime Watch line at 336-633-1630.
- General safety concern: Email safety@randolph.edu.
- College incident report: Use RCC's online Incident Report form for applicable non-emergency incidents.
When reporting

CLERY ACT INFORMATION
Annual Security Report (ASR)
Randolph Community College (RCC) is committed to keeping students, employees, prospective students, prospective employees, and visitors informed about campus safety and security. In accordance with the Jeanne Cleary Campus Safety Act, RCC publishes an Annual Security Report each year by October 1. The report includes information about campus crime statistics, safety and security policies, reporting procedures, emergency response, crime prevention, and available resources. The Annual Security Report is available to current and prospective students and employees through the RCC website.
The ASR includes information about:
- How to report crimes and emergencies
- Campus security and law-enforcement information
- Timely warnings and emergency notifications
- Crime prevention and safety policies
- Clery Act crime statistics and reporting requirements
- Hazing prevention, reporting, and required disclosures
- Policies concerning sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking
PUBLIC SAFETY INFORMATION
Daily Crime Log
RCC maintains a daily crime log of all crimes reported to Campus Safety. The log includes the nature of the crime, the date and time the crime occurred, the general location of the crime, and the disposition of the complaint, if known. Entries and additions to the Daily Crime Log are made within two (2) business days after information is reported to RCC Campus Safety, unless disclosure is prohibited by law or would jeopardize the confidentiality of a victim. The portion of the Daily Crime Log covering the most recent 60-day period is available for public inspection during normal business hours. Portions of the log older than 60 days will be made available for public inspection within two business days of a request. The Daily Crim Log is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Campus Safety Office, 629 Industrial Park Ave., Asheboro, NC 27205, RCC Campus. Copies of the log may also be requested by contacting Campus Safety at safety@randolph.edu or by calling 336-633-0210.
