Nursing program marks five years of perfect first-time NCLEX pass rates

Randolph Community College’s Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program is celebrating a five-year milestone of excellence. The College announced that its May 2025 ADN graduates achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) — the fifth consecutive year its graduates have accomplished this feat.
The NCLEX-RN is a nationally standardized exam administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). It ensures nursing candidates demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective patient care. Passing the NCLEX is a critical final step in becoming a licensed Registered Nurse.
“This continued success is no accident,” said Dr. Shah Ardalan, President/CEO of RCC. “It is the result of intentional academic design, unwavering faculty commitment, and a culture of excellence — all matched by the determination and grit of our students. Behind every successful graduate is a network of wraparound services that support them both inside and outside the classroom. These results prove that RCC’s ADN program is not just participating in nursing education — it is leading it.”
Dean of Health Sciences Tina Dixon credited the achievement to the program’s strong foundation and the resilience of its students.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ dedication and success,” Dixon said. “Achieving a 100% first-time pass rate for five years in a row reflects the strength of our curriculum, the commitment of our faculty, and the hard work of our students. This milestone highlights our mission to prepare nurses who are ready to provide the highest quality of care to meet the healthcare needs of our communities.”
All the May 2025 ADN graduates have already secured employment with healthcare providers across the state, helping address North Carolina’s growing demand for highly qualified nurses.
