Start college by Aug. 18 — Open Enrollment Day makes it easy

Randolph Community College (RCC) is rolling out the welcome mat for new and returning students with three days of events designed to set them up for success this fall. From in-depth campus introductions to last-minute enrollment support, RCC is removing barriers, giving every student the tools they need to thrive.

Whether you are stepping onto campus for the first time or finalizing your class schedule, our team is ready to help you succeed from day one.”
Open Enrollment Day
With Fall Semester officially starting Monday, Aug. 18, the College is hosting Open Enrollment Day on Wednesday, Aug. 13 — the last official day of registration for curriculum classes. Students can visit with a team of experts at the Ann Hoover Welcome Center between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. for assistance with:
- Class registration,
- College applications,
- Financial aid questions,
- Information about RCC’s programs.

New Student Orientation and Armadillo Drop-Ins
If you are already enrolled, RCC’s New Student Orientation is the next step on the path to success for all new students. The event offers a head start on navigating campus life and maximizing the students’ college experience. The Orientations are Monday, Aug. 11, from 1:30-5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and start in the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center Auditorium.
Attendees will enjoy:
- A guided campus tour,
- Information on where and when to purchase books and supplies,
- Workshops highlighting valuable student resources for success,
- Student ID details and more.
Those who cannot attend a full orientation session can swing by the Armadillo Drop-In on Monday, August 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Welcome Center. This shorter session offers one-on-one assistance to help you locate classrooms, share key information for a smooth start, and answer any last-minute questions.
