Randolph Community College’s Radiography Program is proud to announce that the Class of 2025 has achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national certification exam.

“This remarkable achievement by our Radiography graduates reflects both their commitment to excellence and the high standards and support systems that define Randolph Community College,” RCC President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan said. “When every student passes one of the most challenging professional certification exams on the first attempt, it shows that RCC is not just participating in workforce education — we are leading it. These results exemplify our mission to provide relevant, career-centered education that leads to success.”

The prestigious credentialing exam is the industry gold standard for radiologic technologists and a comprehensive assessment of a graduate’s readiness to enter the field. It evaluates critical competencies, including patient care and management, radiation physics and protection, image acquisition and evaluation, equipment operation and anatomy, and radiographic procedures.

To be eligible for the ARRT exam, students must complete extensive classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training. The program’s perfect pass rate reflects the students’ dedication and the quality of instruction provided by RCC’s faculty and clinical partners.

“We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2025,” Radiography Department Head Anna Phillips said. “Their success speaks volumes about their hard work, the strength of our curriculum, and the commitment of our faculty and clinical instructors. This is a true team effort that demonstrates how preparation and perseverance lead to excellence.”

In addition to achieving a perfect pass rate, every graduate of the Class of 2025 has already secured employment in the field of radiologic technology — a testament to the program’s strong clinical partnerships and career-focused training.

ARRT certification is recognized nationwide as a mark of professional competence and is often required for employment in healthcare settings. Earning this credential demonstrates not only mastery of technical knowledge but also a strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.

This milestone underscores RCC’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for excellence in medical imaging and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
