Randolph Community College proudly announces that Dhanraj Emanuel, Department Head of the College’s renowned Photographic Technology Program, has been selected among thousands of entries for inclusion in Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide 2025/26. The international biennial publication recognizes the top advertising photographers whose work sets the standard for excellence in commercial and creative image-making.

Emanuel’s photography — known for its expressive light, meticulous composition, refined color palette, and narrative depth — has been featured in publications, campaigns, and exhibitions across the United States and abroad. He emphasizes meaning and connection over mere aspiration, creating imagery that feels both intimate and alive. His inclusion in Lürzer’s Archive places him among an elite group of image-makers shaping contemporary advertising aesthetics and visual storytelling worldwide.

“Randolph Community College’s commitment to affordable, high-quality education is made possible by faculty who are among the best in the world,” President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan said. “Many institutions provide quality education, but often at a cost that puts it out of reach for most families. At RCC, we deliver excellence that remains accessible — proof that world-class teaching and real value can go hand in hand. Dhanraj Emanuel’s recognition by Lürzer’s Archive exemplifies the global standard of quality our students experience every day.”

A graduate of the University of Memphis (M.F.A.) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (B.F.A.), Emanuel has built an international reputation in food, beverage and interiors photography, commercial branding, and editorial production. His work is known for precise lighting, a refined visual sensibility, and real emotional presence. He has partnered with brands, agencies, and creative teams across industries, creating images that feel intentional and alive.

“I’m honored to be included in this award,” Emanuel said. “Teaching at RCC has allowed me to think critically about my photography and refine my creative voice. The department has a long tradition of technical excellence, and I’ve learned as much from the systems and practices here as I’ve contributed to them. It’s a privilege to be in a place where you can think, talk, and make photography all day — it’s a dream.”
