College opens Education and Engagement Center in downtown Asheboro
Randolph Community College officially opened its new Education & Engagement Center (EEC) at 135 Sunset Ave. in downtown Asheboro with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Friday, Jan. 23. The new location expands RCC’s ability to deliver workforce training, small business support, and student services in close proximity to local employers and the business community.

Carlson brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education leadership having led transformative initiatives that set institutional records for student retention, graduation rates, and support for all students.

Randolph Community College is thrilled to announce that its Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program has been named the No. 3 Nursing School in North Carolina for 2026 by RegisteredNursing.org in its 10th annual rankings.
Apprenticeship Randolph (AR) has opened applications for high school juniors and seniors interested in earning college credit from Randolph Community College (RCC), industry credentials, and paid, hands-on experience while still in high school. Applications opened Jan. 23 and will remain open through March 10.
