By enrolling in Career & College Promise, you will have the opportunity to earn college credit toward certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees that will ease your transfer to the university or prepare you for entry into the job market.

And the best part of the Career & College Promise is, it’s tuition FREE!

To Qualify

College Transfer Pathway

The Career and College Promise College Transfer pathway offers a head start on general education courses for students who plan to pursue a degree at a two-year or four-year college or university. The pathway lets students choose one of two programs of study: the Associate in Science or Associate in Arts.

To be eligible for enrollment, a high school student must:

  1. Be a junior or senior;
  2. Be enrolled in at least one high school course;
  3. Have a weighted GPA of 3.0, or higher, on high school courses;
  4. Demonstrate college readiness in English, Reading, and Mathematics on an assessment test(s) (PLAN, PSAT, SAT, or ACT)*; and
  5. Meet all college course prerequisites.

Career Technical Education Pathways

The Career and College Promise Career Technical Education Pathways for juniors and seniors leads to a certificate or diploma aligned with a high school Career Cluster.

To be eligible for enrollment, a high school student must:

  1. Be a junior or senior;
  2. Be enrolled in at least one high school course;
  3. Have a weighted GPA of 3.0 on high school courses or have the principal's recommendation for a weighted GPA between a 2.0 and 2.99;
  4. Meet the prerequisites for the courses in the career pathway.

CCP Steps to Enrollment

    Curriculum

    (Applying for CCP courses is the first step in the enrollment process and it does not guarantee registration for a course.)
  1. Test/Register
    Take any necessary placement test and schedule an appointment with a High School Hub representative to register for classes.
  2. Watch the CCP Orientation video
