Sponsorships

Sponsorship Agreement Form

The Sponsorship Agreement Form is for Continuing Education (CE) and Curriculum (CU) students whose tuition will be paid by a sponsoring business or organization. The sponsoring organization does not have to be the student's employer.

A completed Sponsorship Agreement Form must be submitted to the Randolph Community College Business Office before the tuition payment deadline for each semester in which the sponsoring organization agrees to cover the student's charges.

After the semester census date, Randolph Community College will invoice the sponsoring business or organization directly for the approved tuition and fees.

Download the Sponsorship Agreement Form to complete and submit it before the tuition payment deadline.

Business Sponsorship

Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes 115D-39(a) and 116-143.3, when an employer other than the Armed Forces pays tuition for an employee to attend an institution operating pursuant to G.S. 116-143.3 and when the employee works at a North Carolina business location, the employer shall be charged the in-state tuition rate.

To sponsor a student at Randolph Community College, the student and the student’s North Carolina employer must complete and sign the Business Sponsorship form. Completed forms should be submitted each semester to the Business Office, located in the Administrative/Education building of the Asheboro Campus, at least five (5) business days before the start of class(es).

Once a Business Sponsorship form is received and approved, the student’s tuition rate will be changed from out-of-state to in-state for the semester being sponsored. The North Carolina employer will then be able to make the payment for the student by visiting the Business Office in the Administration/Education Building on the Asheboro Campus. Payment deadlines are based on the date of registration and may be found at https://www.randolph.edu/events/calendar.aspx.

In the event that the employer does not pay the tuition in full, the student will be responsible for the bill at the out-of-state rate or will be dropped from courses for non-payment.

For assistance with this process or any additional questions, contact the Business Office at 336-633-0292 or rcc_ar@randolph.edu.
