 It takes hard and work and commitment to succeed in criminal justice. If you have a calling to help people and you’re looking for an exciting, fulfilling future with lots of advancement potential, one of the more than 100 criminal justice careers just might be right for you.

No matter what your current skills and interests, or how high your ambitions, you can find a place and go as far as you want to go with a criminal justice career. Do you have an eye for detail? Try forensics or crime scene investigations. Got a passion for adventure? Check out drug enforcement, SWAT, or bomb detection. Prefer a job that is more 9-to-5? How about working for Customs & Immigration or the IRS. All of these agencies hire criminal justice or law enforcement personnel.

There are more than 20,000 agencies in the United States alone that hire roughly 100,000 criminal justice professionals each year.
