Public Safety Administration
The Public Safety Administration program prepares current and aspiring public safety professionals for leadership and advancement in a variety of public safety and government organizations. Students develop technical, managerial, and administrative skills through coursework in public safety administration, interagency operations, crisis leadership, financial management, incident management, administrative law, supervision, and professional standards.
Graduates are prepared for opportunities with fire or police departments, emergency management organizations, governmental agencies, industrial firms, correctional facilities, private industries, insurance organizations, educational organizations, security and protective organizations, and through self-employment opportunities.
