Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), all RCC curriculum students transitioned from in-person instruction to online delivery as of Monday, March 23, indefinitely.

In an effort to help students navigate this transition the College has created a Transition Support Services webpage. (Students should use this page to learn how to access classes.)


Moodle Instructions

“Moodle Guide for  Beginners.”  - A helpful guide for anyone who hasn't taken online courses in the past or for anyone who may need a refresher.

  • When you go to the “Moodle Guide for Beginners,” it will ask for your login information.
  • Your login for Moodle will be the same username and password as your RCC email.
  • This beginner's course contains information and examples on how to access courses, save and upload assignments, quiz and test tips, and much more.
  • Please use this resource to help you get acquainted with Moodle. If you still have questions, please reach out to your instructors for additional assistance.

Need more help? Don't have access to a computer?

Call the Welcome Center at 336-633-0223 or text at 336-222-4445. Someone will be happy to help during regular business hours. Starting Monday, March 30, students who have technology or accessibility issues, access to a computer lab will be available, by appointment, by calling 336-633-0223.


Don't have internet?

Call Spectrum at 1-844-488-8395 and ask about free internet access and Wi-Fi for 60 days for qualifying students. (This offer applies to households with K-12 and/or college students who don't already have internet through Spectrum.)

Spectrum is also opening its Wi-Fi hotspots for public use.

Randolph Communications is also offering free drive-up & park Wi-Fi at various locations around the area. To see the full list, visit this link.
