“Practice What You Preach” encompasses such topics as self-massage, personal massage tools, body movements, meditation, nutrition, and enjoying your passions. The course was designed after instructor Kathy Greenfield suffered an injury she feels could have been avoided by practicing more self-care. Created for those who give without giving to themselves, the class will help attendees become better therapists by bringing a balance between care for clients and care for self.

The course (#74065) is Saturday, June 27, from 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-5:30 p.m. online via Zoom. The cost is $70.

The class has been approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork for eight Continuing Education Units for Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapists (LMBTs) and is taught by a Board-Approved Continuing Education Provider. Students must have satisfactorily completed an approved Therapeutic Massage program or be an LMBT.
