RCC offering Excel, auto dealer classes in June

ASHEBORO (May 27, 2020)

Randolph Community College's Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is offering an online Microsoft Excel class and two classes for auto dealers in June.

The "MS Excel, Basic" course includes introductory and intermediate levels. Students will learn to create/edit simple worksheets, work with menus and toolbars, use basic formulas, format entries, merge cells, hide/unhide rows/columns, and learn about date and time functions, text alignment, inserting and deleting columns/rows, freezing/unfreezing cells, splitting the window and page breaks.

The webinar (#72190) is from 6-9 p.m. each Monday, June 1-13. The cost is $70 plus $21 for a textbook, which can be purchased through the RCC Campus Store.

Prospective auto dealers can take the “DMV: Dealer Pre-License” course, which provides the 12 hours of authorized prelicensing training required in North Carolina. Topics include dealer license plates, vehicle inspections, titling and registration, frequently used forms, and dealer disclosures. The class (#70913) will be offered Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2-3, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in room 223 of the Continuing Education & Industrial Center on the Asheboro Campus. Registration for this course is $70.

The “Motor Vehicle Dealer Renewal” course is designed to assist motor vehicle dealers in meeting the requirements of the law in the distribution of motor vehicles in the state of North Carolina. The class educates and annually updates the independent dealers of North Carolina, therefore protecting the rights and welfare of its citizens.

The webinar (#70914) is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, June 3-4, from 6-9 p.m. Registration is $70.
