Career Connections events coming to RCC in March *EVENTS POSTPONED*

Due to COVID-19 on-campus changes, these events are postponed until further notice.

Randolph Community College’s Career Services Department is announcing the Career Connections initiative, offering opportunities for students, alumni, and the community to hear perspectives from area employers on career-related topics.

The first two events in the Career Connections series are in late March and will afford attendees opportunities to learn strategies and techniques for successfully engaging positive employer response. Both events are hosted by RCC’s Rotaract Club.

The first event is slated for Friday, March 20, from 2-3 p.m. in the Armadillo Room, which is located by the Café in the Student Services Center. Tammy Horne, Human Resources Manager for Plastics Color Corporation in Asheboro, will present on interviewing techniques.

The second event is Friday, March 27, from 2-3 p.m. in the Armadillo Room and will feature Davis Jackson, Human Resources Manager for Oliver Rubber Company in Asheboro. Jackson will present on career growth and development.

RCC’s Spring Job Fair is set for Thursday, April 9.

Attendees at the Career Connections events and the Job Fair earn one entry each in a drawing for a first-place prize of a $75 Amazon gift card or a second-place prize of a $25 gift card from the RCC Campus Store.
