ASHEBORO (Oct. 1, 2019)
Randolph Community College will be participating in FAFSA Day for the 2020-21 academic year Saturday, Oct. 26. FAFSA Day is a program offered by College Foundation of North Carolina and the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators each year. The program is open to students who plan to attend college in the 2020-21 academic year.
College financial aid officers and other volunteers will help students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms over the internet.
Participants should bring their completed 2018 federal tax forms and W-2 forms (dependent students should bring a copy of their parents’ completed 2018 federal tax forms and W-2 forms). In addition to tax information, each student and one parent of a dependent should obtain an FSA ID prior to FAFSA Day from the U.S. Department of Education here. It is helpful (though not required) for attendees to complete as much of the 2020-21 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet as possible and then bring it with them on FAFSA Day.
RCC’s event will be from 9 a.m.-noon in rooms 106 and 108 of the Continuing Education and Industrial Center (CEIC) on the Asheboro Campus. The event is free.
