ASHEBORO (April 4, 2019)
Randolph Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is offering three real estate classes Thursday, April 25, and Wednesday, May 29, on the Asheboro Campus.
Realtors can take the annual update course in the morning and the elective course in the afternoon of the same day. The “General Real Estate Update” course fulfills the annual continuing education credit for Real Estate Brokers as mandated by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC). The course is from 8 a.m. to noon April 25 (#70193) in room 102 of the Continuing Education and Industrial Center (CEIC) or May 29 (#70251) in room 103 of the CEIC.
The elective course, “Real Estate Agency, Art or Agony,” is designed to cause brokers to “stop ... and ... think” about their actions or inactions when working with buyers and sellers or landlords and tenants, especially when acting as a dual agent. The classes are being offered from 1-5 p.m. April 25 (#70194) in room 102 of the CEIC or May 29 (#70252) in room 103 of the CEIC.
The “Broker-in-Charge Real Estate Update” class fulfills the annual continuing education credit for Real Estate Brokers-in-Charge as mandated by the NCREC. The Commission changes the subject matter of these classes each year. This course is from 8 a.m.-noon April 25 (#70192) or May 29 (#70250) in room 223 of the CEIC.
The cost for each class is $45. All Real Estate courses require students to bring a photo ID and pocket card. Students will receive a 100 percent refund if a class fails to “make” due to insufficient enrollment. A student who officially withdraws from a class prior to the first class meeting will be eligible for a 100 percent refund. No refunds are given for students who are listed as “no show.”
