RCC, UNCG agreement eases transition for Interior Design students

Randolph Community College has signed a 2+2 articulation agreement with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to provide an easier transition for Interior Design students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

The agreement is applicable to students who complete the required hours for the Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design from RCC and transfer to UNCG and major in Interior Architecture.


Effective Fall 2019, UNCG’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture requires 120 total hours. RCC Interior Design graduates with 64 semester hours of credit accepted will have no more than 56 hours semester hours of credit remaining for bachelor’s degree completion. A minimum of 31 semester hours must be taken and completed at UNCG, 12 of which must be in the major.
