Radiography FAQ's

When can I get accepted into the Radiography Program?
You can get accepted in the program each fall semester.

How long does the program last?
The Radiography program lasts 2 years ( 5 semesters)

Can I take RAD & ACA 111 before I get accepted into the program?
No. These classes can only be taken once you have been accepted in the program.

Do I have to take the general education classes, specific to the RAD curriculum, before I get accepted into the program?
No. You do not need to take them all before you get accepted. However, it strongly recommend you get as many of these classes done as possibly before you get accepted so you are not overwhelmed with all the work required in each class.

What do I need to do to start the process of getting into the Associate Degree Radiography program?
First, you need to complete an application to the college for an Associate Degree in Radiography and turn in transcripts from High School/GED and any other college you have been to and take placement test if necessary. See phases for admission.

When do I know I have been accepted into the Radiography program?
If you are applying for the fall program you will know around April 1s.

Can I get financial aid and scholarship help with this program?
Yes. You can apply for financial aid help as well as scholarship help.
