Randolph Community College On-Line Courses
Range from Computers to Personal Enrichment

 

ASHEBORO, N.C.—Randolph Community College’s Continuing Education division is now offering a wide variety of classes on-line through Education to Go. Classes include business & industry courses, computer courses, personal enrichment courses, small business courses, teacher renewal courses, and writing courses, plus two complete certification programs: gerontology and paralegal. Ed2Go courses run for six weeks and consist of two lessons each week including interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials and on-line discussion area. The next courses begin Sept. 17.

Computer courses include A+ certification; creating web graphics and web pages; designing effective web sites, digital photography, PC troubleshooting, or classes that focus on software such as Dreamweaver; Java and Javascript; Peachtree First Accounting; QuickBooks; and Microsoft Access, Excel, FrontPage, Publisher, and Word.

Topics for business and industry courses offered include employment law fundamentals, introduction to nonprofit management, and communicating like a leader. Small business classes are offered on accounting fundamentals and customer service.

Looking for personal enrichment? You can learn the secret to getting published with writing courses taught by experienced professionals. Or learn how to eliminate debt, research your genealogy, become a veterinary assistant, study speed reading, learn to use a digital camera, and much, much more.

You can even study on-line for your General Educational Development (GED) Tests.

Registration costs for these courses vary. Students must have Internet access, E-mail, and Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer Web browser.
