RCC Phi Theta Kappa To Induct
Thirty-Five New Students

 

ASHEBORO, N.C.--Randolph Community College will hold its fall induction ceremony for the Beta Theta Rho chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., in the Learning Resources Center auditorium on the Asheboro Campus. Thirty-five students will be inducted into this International Honor Society that recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. The public is invited to attend.

Phi Theta Kappa is the only internationally acclaimed honor society serving two-year institutions which offer associate degree programs. The organization serves to nurture its members and associates by sponsoring meetings which educate, stimulate, and enrich. The Society affords international recognition to students of distinguished achievement and provides a vehicle which reflects the academic integrity of the associate degree program. In order to be members of the society, students must carry a full-time course load and maintain a G.P.A. of 3.5.
