RCC Phi Theta Kappa To Induct
Thirty-Five New Students
ASHEBORO, N.C.--Randolph Community College will hold its fall
induction ceremony for the Beta Theta Rho chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on
Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., in the Learning Resources Center auditorium
on the Asheboro Campus. Thirty-five students will be inducted into this
International Honor Society that recognizes and encourages scholarship
among two-year college students. The public is invited to attend.
Phi Theta Kappa is the only internationally acclaimed honor society
serving two-year institutions which offer associate degree programs. The
organization serves to nurture its members and associates by sponsoring
meetings which educate, stimulate, and enrich. The Society affords international
recognition to students of distinguished achievement and provides a vehicle
which reflects the academic integrity of the associate degree program.
