First Step Fasttrac Business Series
To Start Nov. 4 At Small Business Center
ASHEBORO, N.C.--Randolph Community College's Small Business Center
will offer the First Step FastTrac small business training series beginning
Nov. 4. The FastTrac programs were designed to help people start or grow
a business by offering a condensed series of training courses that end
with students producing business plans for their ventures.
Students will attend one class each week for 12 weeks. The desired outcome
is that the participant successfully complete a written feasibility plan
that can be used to help decide if the business idea is a "go"
or "no go." Topics include communicating the business concept,
gathering information, products and services, market analysis, price and
profitability, profits, cash flow, resources for success, and next steps.
The registration fee for the total program is $100, but documented dislocated
workers can take the series free of charge.
The first class will meet from 6 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4, on the Asheboro
Campus.
For more information or to register, please call the Small Business
Center at (336) 633-0275; Archdale area residents may register through
