RCC Financial Aid Night
Winners Announced

 

ASHEBORO, N.C.—Richard Jordan, a junior at Asheboro High School, was the winner of one free semester of tuition and fees to attend Randolph Community College in 2004. The tuition door prize and others were awarded during RCC’s annual Community Financial Aid Night on Jan. 28. Around 135 people were in attendance.

Holly Campbell, a senior at Trinity High School, won a $100 RCC Campus Store gift certificate. Other prizes included eight $50 Campus Store certificates, 10 RCC sweatshirts, six RCC zippered planners, and four gift packs. Those winners were Eric Groover, Kimberly Spainhour, Amanda Hill, Ashley Tate, Emily Thornburg, Kelli Richardson, Jessica Gallimore, and Allison Pickett, all seniors at Asheboro High School; Charlene Gartner and Delana Thompson, both juniors at Eastern Randolph High School; Nicholas Coco, Joseph Pugh, Joseph Ritter, and Dana Fells, all seniors at Eastern Randolph High School; Tommy & Vicki Hall, parents of a senior at Eastern Randolph High School; Kimberly Patchen, enrolled in RCC’s Adult High School Diploma program; Travis Moore, a senior at Jordan-Matthews High School; Sarah Nutt, a senior at Fayetteville Street Christian School; Beth Auman, Amy Hooker, Sabrina Hepler, Bethany Rice, Jennifer Graves, all seniors at Southwestern Randolph High School; Tammy Allen, a graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School; Jennifer Denman, GED recipient; Ashley Wishon, a junior at Trinity High School; Jason Allred, a senior at Randleman High School; and Cheryl Munro, a graduate of New Albany High School in Indiana.

Financial Aid Night was funded (including all door prizes except gift packs) by the Randolph Community College Foundation. The gift packs were provided by the Student Government Association of RCC.
