Randolph Community College Offers
Class On Basics Of Golf
ASHEBORO, N.C.--You can add to your business skills and learn
a new hobby this spring with a class offered at Randolph Community College's
Asheboro Campus. Many business deals are made over golf games, but not
everyone has the skills they need to keep up with clients and colleagues
on the golf course.
"Introduction to Golf" will give you the fundamentals and includes
both the hands-on mechanics of the golf swing, chipping, and putting,
as well as instruction in the rules and etiquette of golf as applied by
the Carolina Golf Association. Instruction involves both classroom activities
and time on the Asheboro Country Club driving range. The registration
fee of $55 includes balls, clubs, and range fee.
The class will meet on Tuesday, April 22, from 7 - 8:30 p.m., and on
Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 24 - May 6, from 4 - 7 p.m.
To sign up today, call the Asheboro Campus at (336) 633-0267. Archdale
residents can call the Archdale Campus at (336) 862-7980.
