RCC Small Business Center Mini-Series Begins in May

            ASHEBORO (April 20, 2007)

Randolph Community College's Small Business Center will be offering a free three-part mini-series focusing on doing business on the Internet during May. Classes will be held at both the Asheboro Campus and Archdale Center. The Archdale classes are being cosponsored by the Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce. All classes meet from 6-9 p.m.

"Easy Steps to eBay For the Novice" will introduce you to one of the most popular ways to make money online. Learn how to get started with eBay, how to access 12 hours of free training videos, how to avoid mistakes, and much more. The class will meet in Archdale on Tuesday, May 1, and in Asheboro on Thursday, May 3.

In "Making Money on the Internet," you will discover multiple ways to make money online, with or without a Web site, including drop shipping, auctions, and affiliate programs. You can make extra money from the comfort of your own home, but first, learn what not to do! The class will meet in Archdale on Tuesday, May 8, and in Asheboro on Thursday, May 10.

Participants will learn how to design their own Web sites online in just minutes in "Easy Online Web Design & Marketing." If you can use a mouse and type an e-mail, you can build your own Web site. You’ll also learn easy, free and low cost ways to get visitors to your site. This class will meet in Archdale on Tuesday, May 15, and in Asheboro on Thursday, May 17.

Seating is limited, so register now.
