ASHEBORO (March 26, 2007) Maria Torres, Donna Presnell, Brittnee Loflin, Hilari Liner, Lisa Frye, Rebecca Davis, Lori Cecil, Caley Cassell, Sammy Joe Baltes and Charles Skeen vocalized their way to helping Relay for Life at RCC on March 24. Over $600 was raised for Relay for Life, making ALL of Randolph Community College Idol participants Winners! All of the participants gave those who attended an excellent performance. And the judges had a very difficult time making a choice of the top three contenders. They choose Hilari Liner, Brittnee Loflin, and Charles Skeen as the three finalist. Each of the finalists sang one more song, and the audience members were asked to vote on the winner. Third place: Hilari Liner. Second place: Brittnee Loflin. First place: Charles Skeen. Thank you to all of the RCC participants and to volunteers from Computer Services who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this event a success. It was great entertainment and for a worthy cause. Special thanks to emcee Don Ashley, and judges Grey Sanders, Todd Thompson, and Will Smith. |
