Dr. Daryl Hill

Dr. Daryl Hill, who owns a private practice located in downtown Asheboro, specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from Randolph Community College in 1993 in the College Transfer (UNCG Extension) program and was one of the college's first Student Ambassadors. He was named an outstanding alumnus of RCC in 2005.

In 1993, he transferred to UNC completing his bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry, graduating with honors. He was a Board of Governors Scholar at the UNC School of Dentistry, graduating with honors as a doctor of dental surgery in 2000. Before opening his practice, he worked with the Randolph County Health Department and as an independent contract dentist for Forest Irons & Associates.

Dr. Hill is currently president of Medical Resource Center of Randolph County (MERCE), is vice president third district for North Carolina Dental Society and a three-time delegate to that group, and is a member in good standing of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Randolph County Dental Society.

Dr. Hill is active in the community, coordinating the Give Kids a Smile project in Randolph County since 2001. He has been a Kiwanian since 2002.

He considers his time at RCC "a very positive experience. RCC was a great transition from high school to UNC," he says. Dr. Hill lives in Asheboro with his wife, Gala, his stepson Chris, son Austin, and daughter Lynsey.
