Randolph Community College’s Corporate and Continuing Education Division, is hosting an Employer Preview event to help connect RCC students with employers. The event will be held on Thursday, May 1, from 1-4 p.m. at the Corporate Training Center in the Continuing Education and Industrial Center at 413 Industrial Park Avenue.
According to Bryle Hatch, coordinator of workforce development for RCC, the event will connect RCC students with employers in the fields of machining, welding, HVAC, maintenance mechanics, electrical, and facilities maintenance. Registration is not required, but all students are encouraged to be professionally dressed and to have an updated resume ready.
Participating companies include Asheboro employers Elastic Therapy Inc., Express Employment Professionals, Georgia-Pacific Packaging, Kayser-Roth, MOM Brands, Sapona Plastics, Technimark, and SouthCorr Packaging; Grede Machining of Biscoe; Syntech Signs of Burlington; Aerotek of Greensboro; Costa Sanders of High Point; and AlumiWorks LLC, Dart Container, Pemmco Mfg., and United Brass Works of Randleman.

RCC’s Corporate and Continuing Education Division offers a multitude of noncredit and short-term credit courses and training programs including occupational classes in fields such as building trades, computers, and emergency services; adult basic education such as high school equivalency and English for Speakers of Other Languages; customized training for businesses and industries; and Small Business Center seminars and workshops.
