Randolph Community College's Archdale Center will offer a Dog Obedience class beginning March 2. The class will meet from 7-8 p.m. each Wednesday through April 13.
Basic dog training can make your dog a pleasure to be with and improve your dog's attentiveness and rapport with you. The class will start with vocal commands on a leash and progress to off-lead commands. Participants should bring receipts or notes from their veterinarians to the first class as proof of appropriate vaccinations. Participants should not bring their dogs the first night of class.
The registration fee, which is $35 plus $1.25 for accident insurance, covers one person working with one dog for the entire course.
