Two information sessions for the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree offered on Randolph Community College's Asheboro Campus through Salem College will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20. The first session will be from 12-1:30 p.m. and the second session will be from 6-7:30 p.m., both in RCC's Computer Technology Center, Room 110.
Students who are interested in completing a bachelor's degree in business administration will have a chance to talk with Ed Hartgrove, a faculty member and academic advisor for Salem College, and Clark Adams, RCC English and Communication instructor and Salem College liaison. Students who are currently in the program will be present to speak with interested students as well.
The BSBA program has been offered at RCC since the fall of 2008 and is part of the University Center of Randolph County on RCC's campus. Both Salem College officials and RCC officials are looking to offer even more students the opportunity to complete their bachelor's degrees without having to leave Randolph County.
Three classes will be offered in the program for the spring 2011 semester and will begin on Feb. 1. International Finance (FINC 310) will be offered on Tuesdays from 5:15-7:15 p.m. International Marketing (MKTG 234) will be held on Thursdays from 5:15-7:15 p.m., and Special Topics-Business Communication (BUAD 260) will be held from 7:15-9:15 p.m. on Thursdays.
