ASHEBORO (January 21, 2010)

Randolph Community College President Robert S. Shackleford would like to invite students to attend one of three forums planned to learn about the upcoming education referendum, how it can help RCC, and how important students will be in getting it passed.

The Randolph County Board of Commissioners has approved a one-fourth of a cent sales tax referendum, designated for RCC's capital needs, to be voted on by the public in a special election on Tuesday, March 2.

These Forums with the President are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 12 noon, in the R. Alton Cox Learning Resources Center auditorium. A question-and-answer session will follow Dr. Shackleford's comments.
