Randolph Community College's Small Business Center will offer a free seminar titled "Living Debt-Free, A Common Sense Approach" on Tuesday, May 19, from 6-9 p.m. on the Asheboro Campus. Individuals, as well as small business owners, are encouraged to attend to gain information that can be very valuable in these trying economic times.
Participants will learn how to get out of debt and stay out of debt through a common sense approach. The seminar will include some simple yet effective methods to start the process of becoming debt free. Also learn about the shams and "quick fixes" that should be avoided. Information about credit scoring and the importance of maintaining good credit will be revealed. Students should bring a list of their debts with balances and monthly payments and will learn how to develop their own debt elimination plan that can be implemented immediately into their lifestyles.
