Interior Design Students Visit “Green” Hotel

ASHEBORO (March 17, 2009)

 

Randolph Community College Interior Design students recently completed a field trip to the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro to learn about sustainable design and “green” materials. The Proximity Hotel is a LEED Platinum Certified Hotel.

Students in the Principles of Interior Design class making the trip included Jordan Arrington, Gayle Cleveland, Kaneci Fitzgerald, Makenzy Hendrix, Megan Kearns, Sallie Sullivan, and Dawn Hemphill. Accompanying the students were instructors Tracy Marino and Holly Barker.
