Greensboro College will hold a second information session at Randolph Community College on Tuesday, July 22, for students interested in attending classes on the RCC campus to earn their bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice. The information session will be from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Foundation Conference Center on the Asheboro Campus. Representatives from Greensboro College will be present to provide information and answer questions.
This program is open to anyone but should be of particular interest to students and graduates of RCC's associate in arts program in Criminal Justice Technology.
Two Greensboro College courses will be offered at RCC in fall 2008.
Interested students are encouraged to attend the information session on July 22 to pick up an application packet. You may also request an application and more information from the Greensboro College School of Professional & Graduate Studies, 336-272-7102, ext. 284, or by e-mailing adults@gborocollege.edu.
This program is part of an effort by RCC President Bob Shackleford to establish a University Center on RCC's campus that will allow various four-year schools to offer bachelor's degree programs to Randolph County residents. A similar program in elementary education was established at Randolph Community College by Pfeiffer University in January 2008.
