Learn to Develop a Business Plan Jan. 15 at RCC

ASHEBORO (January 7, 2008)

Randolph Community College's Small Business Center will present a free seminar on Tuesday, Jan. 15, on "Developing a Business Plan that Works for You." The seminar will be held from 6-9 p.m. on the Asheboro Campus.

"Owning a business is a challenge! But it's not really so hard if you develop a business plan that works for you," says Jess McLamb, the presenter for this seminar. McLamb, who is president of The Roper Group and has trained thousands of entrepreneurs across the state, will take participants through the process to turn their business dreams into reality, from understanding yourself as an entrepreneur to implementing your business plan.

McLamb has more than 30 years of accounting, management, and training experience as a manager of a statewide bank's accounting department and an operations manager of a national insurance company, in addition to her work at The Roper Group. She has worked with hundreds of small businesses, facilitated leadership and business skill classes for community colleges, N.C. State University, and various businesses and organizations across the state. McLamb has helped business owners and employees, civic leaders, and managers across the country to improve their business and accounting skills.
