Visit Randolph Community College's Archdale Center
During Christmas at Creekside Dec. 7

ARCHDALE (November 29, 2007)

Randolph Community College's Archdale Center will participate in the Archdale Parks and Recreation Center's Christmas at Creekside on Friday, Dec. 7, from 4-9 p.m. The event is located in Creekside Park just off Highway 311 south of Archdale.

The Archdale Parks and Recreation Center will feature vendors selling handmade items, jewelry, Christmas decorations, etc., Santa Claus, hay rides, a bonfire, and luminaries leading to the recreation center.

Instructors and students from RCC's Archdale Center will have booths to sell various arts and crafts items, jewelry, paintings, knitting and crocheted items, local honey, gourd art, City of Trinity Christmas tree ornaments, poinsettias, baked goods, and unique items for Christmas presents. The Grinch will be on hand at the RCC Archdale Center for children's photos. Other children's activities include making Christmas greeting cards in a computer lab and decorating Christmas cookies to take home.

For the adults, there will be swing dance demonstrations and information on the multitude of personal enrichment and professional development classes offered at the
Archdale Center. Refreshments will include cider, cookies and punch.
