A course for small business owners called "Bootcamp to Restore You and Your Retail Store" will be offered at Randolph Community College's Archdale Center from Sept. 28 through Oct. 6, 2007. It is a brief four-part course designed to reinvigorate the spirits and stores of people who are facing some of the unique challenges that come with small business ownership.
Topics to be covered include "Marketing in the World of Retailing" (9/28, 6-9 p.m.), "Personnel Development" (9/29, 9 a.m.-noon), "Financial Management" (10/5, 6-9 p.m.), and "Web Site and Blogging" (10/6, 9 a.m.-noon). Participants may choose to attend only one or two sessions, or all four, but those who attend a minimum of three sessions will receive an Entrepreneur’s Institute certificate at the end of the course.
This course will be useful for those just starting their own business or those who have already started and are looking to revitalize their investment. The course number is MLS3209F78338. "Bootcamp to Restore You and Your Retail Store" is being offered in conjunction with the services of the new Randolph County Entrepreneurial Resource Center in Archdale. The Center offers free resources that include consulting services, marketing and promotional aid, financial analysis and evaluation, and Web site and information technology assistance.
