RCC Photography Graduate to be Featured in Popular Canadian Magazine

ASHEBORO (May 9, 2007)

Stacey Haines, a 2003 graduate of Randolph Community College's Photographic Technology program and a well-known international photographer who works out of North Carolina and New York, is the subject of a feature story to be published in Canadian Home and Country, Canada’s magazine about country homes and style.

A native of Nova Scotia, Haines was contacted by Canadian Home & Country after they received a package with her stunning photographs and images. She travels extensively for her work, and has a 1,200-square-foot photo studio in Greensboro, N.C.

Canadian Home and Country’s Erin McLaughlin, editor in chief, and Ann Marie Favrot, design editor, touched down in Greensboro in late April for a week of photos to craft a feature story about Haine's home, known for its charm and artistic vintage appeal. The photo shoot continued at Haine’s studio and at the Antiques Market in Liberty, N.C., for another feature story on the North Carolina flea markets and Southern treasures. The story about Haines and her home is expected to be published in the June issue.

Canadian Home & Country is published eight times per year, and each issue contains at least three feature home stories with beautiful photographs. In addition, the magazine includes several columns and product pages packed with ideas, inspiration and advice, with a focus on antiques, restoration, decorating, cooking, gardening and entertaining.
