RCC Idol Auditions Set for March 16 & 17

ASHEBORO (February 28, 2007) Randolph Community College’s Armadillo Trackers Relay for Life team is staging an RCC Idol vocal talent contest on Saturday, March 24, to benefit Relay for Life.

Auditions are set for Friday, March 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Learning Resources Center auditorium on the Asheboro Campus.

An entry fee of $2 will be charged for each contestant. Please bring your own music; a CD player will be available. To register for an audition, e-mail your name with the date and time you plan to audition to Rebecca Davis at rgdavis@randolph.edu. Tickets to the RCC Idol event on March 24, which will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the LRC auditorium, are available for $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Randolph Community College’s Information Center in the Students Services Center or from the Computer Services department.

All proceeds go to benefit Relay for Life.
