Randolph Early College High School Picks a Mascot and School Colors!
What animal is strong, intelligent, steady, and is mentioned in an Edgar Allan Poe poem?
You guessed it -- a raven! On Friday, August 18, Cathy Waddell, principal of Randolph Early College High School, announced the winning mascot and colors. Earlier in the week students were polled on their favorite colors and mascot choices. After narrowing the field to the most popular, students picked their favorites. Finally, a runoff was held and the raven flew to the front. The selected colors were red, black and silver.
Students in the Randolph Early College High School were excited and elated to take part in the foundation decisions of the high school. Students cheered as the results were announced. It’s obvious that they are proud to call themselves the Ravens!
