ASHEBORO (July 25, 2006) – The horizon at the Randolph Community College (RCC) Archdale Off-Campus Center has changed and now includes a brand new brick building addition, flowers and trees. Growing to meet the increasing needs of students from the Archdale/Trinity area, RCC is excited to announce the opening of the building with an open house on August 24, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The new construction includes 12,068 square feet that will nearly double the Center’s capacity with 8 classrooms, 2 conference rooms, 1 computer room with specialized tables, a lounge area with tables and chairs to accommodate students waiting for class or studying, a patio area, reception area and additional office space.

During the open house, faculty from various areas/programs will be present to speak with visitors and showcase their work. Tours will be provided and additional areas in the older part of the building will be open. People will be on hand to answer questions and direct visitors. Light refreshments will be provided.
