RCC FOUNDATION SURPASSES FUNDRAISING GOAL (April 27, 2006)

ASHEBORO (April 27, 2006) -- As of close of operations yesterday (April 26, 2006), the RCC Foundation has surpassed the fundraising goal for its 2005-2006 annual campaign. The Foundation has raised $112,259.33, which is 104% of our $108,000 goal.

"Central to the success of this year's campaign is the very generous support the College has received from its own staff & faculty," commented Robin Johnston, VP for Development and Executive Director for the RCC Foundation. "It is incredible to watch how we come together to support education and build on the tradition of academic and training excellence the College has enjoyed over the years."

Nearly two thirds of our employees contributed to the campaign, raising more than $12,524. College employees gave $9,560 last year.
