Bowl-A-Thon (2/24/06)

The Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce Bowl-A-Thon to raise fund to support education programs was held this past Saturday with three teams (15 bowlers) from RCC participating. Each one participating had a "FUN" time, but may be just a little sore this morning from the exercise! You can probably pick them out by the out by they way they are walking this morning!

RCC teams raised over $1100.00 for the event. CONGRATULATIONS TEAMS!!! We will have the final total once all pledges are collected.

Congratulations to Brandi Hagerman's team (Brandi, Angela Lanier, Ken Fields, Ken Kinley, and Mario Ramos) who had the highest team score for three games, 1607 and Ken Fields who had the highest individual score for three games, 377.

"Thank You" to everyone who supported the teams with your pledges and contributions. It was a very successful total college effort. The teams were just the ones having all the FUN!

Remember the 2007 Bowl-A-Thon will probably be around February 24, 2007. Go ahead and mark you calendar so you can be on one of the bowling teams next year.
