To apply for most types of aid, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When completing the FAFSA, you will need to follow the steps listed below:
Once your FAFSA has been processed you will receive an email with a link to your Student Aid Report (SAR). If you did not provide an email address, you will receive your SAR by mail. Once the school receives your information, we will contact you by letter and email to inform you of any further steps that you need to make.
Randolph Community College does not participate in the Federal Direct Loan program. If you determine your aid package is not sufficient to cover your costs and need to pursue private student loans, we encourage you to carefully research the private student loan options available to you.
Remember: You must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every academic year in order to receive financial aid. Also, certain scholarships, grants, or other types of aid sometimes require a separate application through the department or organization providing the aid.
