Let's join a discussion board...
These images represent what you will see, and are included to explain the different steps you need to take. If you look at the discussion group listing, you'll see the group name, who posted it, the subject of the discussion, how many threads have been posted, and how many users are in the group (all). The only link is the group name.
Step One:
Click on the group name to enter the group.
Once you are in the group, you'll be able to see those two threads.
Step Two:Click on the subject of the first thread, Post a Reply in order to read the content and have an opportunity to respond.
Step Three:
Scroll down

.
to the end of the messages and click on the Reply to this message link.
Step Four:Type your message into the textbox provided and click on the [Reply] button.
The last thing you need to do is change the message view to the one you prefer. To do that you need to look at all the views and see which one suits your preferences.
