The class examines the Internet as a reference tool and directs students to reliable Web sites, provides case studies to stimulate critical thinking, and includes an activity CD-ROM which provides interactive exercises to enhance the learning experience.

These settings as well as the typical work environments and necessary skills required of each, are examined in depth. This class defines individual roles of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Learning objectives, key concepts, and self-assessment questions reinforce important material. Exercises are included that promote critical thinking. Photographs, diagrams and drawings enhance material and examine differences between traditional and nontraditional settings.

Both tests are written in the same format as the actual certification exam, providing students with valuable practice.
