Automotive Mechanics Certificate Program

This course prepares individuals for entry-level positions as automotive service technicians who inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles and light trucks that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels. Instruction is organized around eight core areas: brakes, electrical/electronic systems, engine performance, suspension and steering, automatic transmissions and transaxles, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, and manual drive trains and axles. Upon completion, students may sit for industry-recognized credentials.
