The purpose of this course is to assist motor vehicle dealers in meeting requirements of the law in the distribution of motor vehicles in the state of N.C. This course will educate and annually update the independent dealers of North Carolina, therefore protecting the rights and welfare of its citizens.

The truck driving school is designed to teach students to drive tractor-trailers and trucks. The program will prepare the prospective driver to understand safety, driver responsibility, and also the laws and regulations governing the motor carrier industry. Students can get an admission application from RCC with all the qualifications by contacting JobLink, 336-633-0304, the Continuing Education Office at RCC, 336-633-0268 or 336-862-7980 or CrossCountry Trucking, 336-472-0024. The student is responsible for their CDL permit, license fee, DOT Drug Tests, DOT Physical, and criminal background check (@$250-$300).
The Truck Driving Training class is by application only. Contact the Continuing Education office for an application and more information, 336-633-0268 in Asheboro, or 336-862-7980 in Archdale. Please call for updates. New sections will start every two weeks and a weekend program is available.
